Hi,
I have an assembly which has a sub-assembly in it. The parts in sub-assembly has relative movements, mates and constraints within them. When I bring the main assembly and sub-assy into cosmos motion, I am not able to define individual motions for the sub-assembly parts. Neither the software puts the appropriate constaints for the sub-assembly, but puts constraints between sub-assembly and the main assembly. How do I apply appropriate constraints and forces to sub-assembly parts ? Or should I have to build the entire parts as one assembly? Thanks.

Are the subassemblies solved as "rigid" or "flexible"? Only flexible subassemblies can move within a main assembly.

I did not make the assembly specifically flexible, I just brought it in. I think that may be the problem. I will see flexible assemblies (in the help), try and get back. Thanks,
