Is it allowed for a manufacturer to fill out and submit a single U-1 for (aka Manufacturer's Data Report) form to the customer for multiple pressure vessels, if all of those vessels are identical?

I think you can do it if all of them manufactured and tested in the same time (as a batch). There is serial number to identify each of them. AI should visit to witness, sign on U-1 (where all units should be listed) and date it.

InspectorJohn,

Yes, it is allowed if the vessels are completed on the same day and all the requirements of UG-120(a)(1) are met.

Curtis: and NB numbers if the items are registered. acceptance of the AIA, AI are needed,(some AI's ill not allow it for a reason. depends on the size and quantity of the production of vessels.
UG,120,a,1 shall be accepted at time of ASME review
to take effect.
