Hello,
I have a question regarding a manufacturing I made and my customer reject it.
I have an order requesting to manufacture nuts according the ASME SA 194 Grade 2H.
In order to manufacture theses nuts, I have suplied a raw material according EN standard (C45).
After the manufacturing of the nuts, I performed the requested examniatation and test requeted by the chapter SA 194 Grade 2H (hardness test, macro examniation).
I also performe heat treatment accordingly the SA 194.
To the end of the manufacturing, my customer request a certificat of conformance according EN standard EN 10204.
As a manufacturer and because I also performed the heat treatment, I wrote a certificat of conformance which stats that I certifiy the nuts are according SA 194 2H.
My customer reject my manufacturing and say that I can't say the nuts are according the standard SA 194 /2H.
What is your feeling about this process ?
