Anybody tell me what is the difference between ASME code III section 1 & ASME Code III section 3.

Thanks,

Azizur

I am inspecting valve cast body say section III while inspecting another 316 steel bar say section I.

Thanks

Azizur

Section III, Class 1 is Nuclear reactor boundary components. Section III, Class 3 is Nuclear safety-related but not reactor-boundary. How can you inspect these components if you don't have a copy of the Code?
