ASME Code Case 2835, ASME Section VIII UG-84(g) (2) impact tests are no longer valid if they were completed prior to ASME Section VIII Div 1, 2013 edition. Is re-qualification require with new impact test?.

The committee's answer is clear as mud, but here's my best guess as to the meaning:
The PQR (qualified to 1988 or later) is valid, but the WPS will need to be updated by January 1, 2018.
Was there a change to UG-84(g)(2) in 2013?
