How are roof component and cladding loads calculated in ASCE 7-02 or ASCE 7-05 for a gable roof with a roof angle larger than 45 degrees?

I think there is a graphic and table which mention this, but I am in a hotel in Denver right now without a copy in front of me.

Absent better guidance, you would not be too far off using values for leeward wall surfaces. Steeper than 45 degrees, you still get vortices in the lee of the ridge to consider, but the flow on the field of the leeward side is disrupted and it is a somewhat turbulent, low pressure air mass.

Windward pressures will be near the windward wall values.

For C&C, take special note of the perimeter, which will have the highest forces, particularly on the lee side of corners.
