As per client’s utility requirement they are planning to use their existing N2 two backup tanks for Oxygen storage.

Technical engineer is required to confirm if they can use same accessories which they used in existing N2 Tank for new Oxygen storage.

Accessories need to be check:

- Pressure valves.

- Relief valves.

- Vaporisers.

- Regulators.

Probably not. O2 devices should not require use of oil or grease.

Einstein gave the same test to students every year. When asked why he would do something like that, "Because the answers had changed."

I agree with 1503-44, you probably cannot use devices that are not specifically qualified for oxygen service...

Not safely anyway ....

... unless you want an internal pipeline fire .... that oxygen systems are prone to ignite

Maximum velocity limits apply as well. Around 20 to 30 fps, if I recall correctly.
