Are there any websites that compile which edition of the building code a state is following? 1

I'm currently using up.codes, but they don't have everything.

If it exists, I wouldn't trust it anyway; it's too easy for the data to go out of date. Go to the source. Every state seems to have this posted on their website somewhere, and many local jurisdictions do as well when they aren't subject to a statewide code.

I'm not opposed to looking at the state building code, however I find that many times the local counties or cities have this information posted and it varies from city to city in each state. I suggest going directly go the jurisdiction in which you are designing a structure. Typically a 1 minute google search will tell you what you need.

Please note that local jurisdictions may also have amendments to the building code that are crucial for designs in that area.
