Hello,

I am currently a student researching a topic using the SHANSEP model. Is it possible to apply this concept on Limitstate:GEO ? And if so are there any guides or previous studies similar to this?

Thank you

My recollection is that LimitState:GEO is very simple in terms of material models and you can't do anything soil model wise other than drained / undrained Mohr Coloumb. I guess you could try and cheat by making a really complicated model with 0.1m thick layers where you adjust the properties according to SHANSHEP or some other model manually?
