Hello folks, I am new here and also new to the SAAP programme. I am trying to model a barrel shell but I am having trouble inputting the loads. I basically have a steel shell and I am trying to apply the load of glass cladding. Where do I actually type the load in?

Select the shell areas which have cladding and Assign> Area loads> Uniform and use whatever area units you want for cladding weight. Default is gravity direction, which will account for the weight of the cladding. You might want to define a new load pattern for the cladding in order to make it easier to go back and check later.

Thanks for that mate.
