Applying load over a specified distance

Hello Cosmos users,
Is it possible in Cosmos to apply a load / pressure over a part of the face. Lets say I have a 2 x 2 face on a square plate and I want to apply 1000 lb force over an area of 2 x 1 and not on the entire surface.

better create a split line to divide the face.
