Dear All,

I would like to enquire from your knowledge on API 16 A about specific wellhead valves called SSISV i.e. subsurface safety injection valve. Are these valves hydraulically actuated or they are mechanically built to operated under pressure similar to piston/spring action and hence not requiring any mean for actuation such as hydraulic oil?
