We are beginning an evaluation of some layered AO Smith vessels built in 1959 that used SA-225 grade B for the heads and AO 1146a for the shells that are 200 cu ft.

The AO 1146a appears to be equivalent to SA-225 grade C under the modern Code. Could you direct me to a source for the weldability of this material?

Also, I have been unable to find information for SA-225 grade B that would tell me anything usefull about it. Do you know where I could find that information?
