anyone have experience modelling laminated glass?

Hi all,
I'm looking to model a glass laminate, consisting of 2 pieces of glass sandwiching a sheet of polyvinyl butyral. the aim is to see stress distributions and the effects of temperature and pressure on the laminate.
i've never modelled a visco elastic material before, and i can't find PVB pre-programmed into solidworks, so if anyone knows how to go about doing it i'd really like to know...just any pointers would be really useful
the main issue really is defining the mechanical properties of a viscoelastic material

If you know all the properties, all you need do is RMB on the Material in the FM, select Edit Material and create what you need.

I initially thought thats what i'd have to do, but is it not more complicated for a viscoelastic material?

It sounds like what you're looking for is more related to the capabilities of Cosmos rather than SolidWorks. You will not come close to being able to "see stress distributions and the effects of temperature and pressure on the laminate" with SolidWorks/CosmosXpress alone. You may want to try the Cosmos forum here, though.
