I am after metric 100 degree countersink guage. Did some research they are a bit to expensive for me (on ebay, amazon and few other websites around $400). Could anyone please suggest any websites where I could get second hand or cheap ones. Has to be metric.

Thanks,

V.

A quality gauge will run you in the $300-400+ range..
Ebay has a few used ones under that..

Good quality stuff isn't cheap.. That's just life

The idea with good tools is that you only buy them once. A metrology company could do some inspection work for you, but I feel that $400 will get burned up pretty quickly with that scenario. Sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and shell out for the tool.

Hopefully, your bid has included such contingencies. Do you need to be NIST traceable? If not, you can put together your own gauge for a fraction of the cost if you've got the in-house ability to do so.

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.
