any difference between driven pile and bored pile bearing capacity cal

It seems to me no difference in the calculation despite of the different construction method. I used "alpha" method for cohesive soil and "beta" method for non-cohesive soil and do not consider the base capacity. Any opinion? Thanks for your input.
