The company I work for in South Africa is trying to decide on package to model complicated composite structures. In my country reasonable support can only be obtained for Ansys and MSC Nastran so these are the only packages considered. We are faced with Ansys Workbench and MSC Nastran and Patran. We are considering the Laminate Modeler/FibreSim as well. We are using Proengineer.
