ANSYS 18.2 Student Importing problem

I can import geometry via step or iges file but when I go to mesh in Mechanical or edit Setup Fluent I can't see any model. Attached are what I'm seeing. Any help would be appreciated.

If no any warning/error message shows up, and this issue persists with many trials, then it seems a software defect.

You could try reinstalling the software or try previous Revs.
