What would be the size of anchor bolt for foundation of transformer?

Depends on the size/weight and region, I might check wind and earthquake requirements. Usually, if required, the vendor will provide, or specify on the equipment drawing.
 
Often larger transformers are not anchored, even though they have anchor hole locations. Ran into some heat a few years back grouting the bearing and using anchor rods... 400K (weight) size... size of a house, but not going to blow over easily...

What size transformer are we talking about? As dik noted, large transformers inside substations often aren't anchored at all - they are also often put on some type of isolation material to help decrease noise levels. The utility I used to work for used old conveyor belt for this purpose. Small distribution type transformers usually have holes for anchors around their edges, and as Agent 666 said, you usually just use the size anchors that fit the holes provided. I often see these transformers get placed on 6" to 8" thick precast pads with or without post installed anchors.
