hi.


can anybody tell me about how to determine stretch factor in pipe bending,using


pro/e i have given 127 outer dia. and thickness of pipe is 8 ,and radius of bend 500mm,angle of bend 90 degree,how to determine stretch factor and loss of material and how can i reduce loss of material.

sorry but i have not read anywhere that proe and any other cad software can simulate the pipe bending in real world and suggest you the way or calculate the stretch factor.


there are many written technical papers that you should sewarch for answers
