AMADA LCG 3015 AJ pierce off distance

Hello,

Wondering if this is a common LCG 3015 AJ piercing issue. When starting a cut, our laser starts the piercing procedure way over the nozzle gap limit. If the nozzle gap is set to 5 mm, it will start piercing over 25.4 mm. What I've tried is cleaning the nozzle, changing the nozzle, and restarting laser. Nothing has worked. Any thoughts on how to go about this?

5mm pierce height is way too high my max nozzle gap for pierce is 3mm

Problem solved after removing the distance sensor and putting it back in and redoing a head calibration.
