hi,
I have question regarding Amada laser older pulsar ,we spent lot of time to developed cutting condition funuc 16-I controller .The last year we trade laser for new Pulsar NT . I have readout conditions from old one but there is no way to write it to NT .Does anybody know any program to view my old condition I swear my old machine had better condition than new one ....................

Thanks

1: I doubt the formats are the same, and Amada does enough funny stuff with the parameters, that the two generations of machines are probably quite different.

2: cutting conditions depend on a lot of things, including the optics of the laser and the machine itself.

It also depends a bit on the performance and tuning of the motion system. Even if they call the new machine a Pulsar, they may have improved or tweaked the axes performance, and that will affect how they tune the cutting parameters in the corners, etc.

What kinds of materials? Unusual super-custom stuff, or materials that are already in the cutting parameters of the new machine?

well, the old condition file I read is .dat some hex file , need a engine to view it I guess, new is .jkm for single condition or .jka for all.The material I remember was .250 COLD ROLL STEEL old laser cut that with 90. inch/min and new have maximum speed 79.00 inch/min .Other funny thing is Old laser was 2000 w and new is 4000 w I expect new cut at least around 150 inch/min................ I had lot of others material SS GALV ALUMINUM .....................I'm in this business for sometime and the Amada have really bad conditions table ,very slow.......I got to talk to Amada again and start to explain the problem again , so far I'm waiting for information 1.5 month...........
Thanks

so far I deal with salesman,
will send him e-mail tomorrow again.............
Thanks

There is a way to view it. Its a little complicated. The best way is for you to email me your .jkf, and I will turn them into a PDF and email back.

It may take a few days for me to get to it.

Max speed on a 4kw is 120ipm. That is the from factory.
