We have some problems that sometimes the mesuring fails and starts cutting outside the sheet. sheet is totaly clean. Is there a way to calibrate it??

I assume you talking about the "G121". Yes, and no, to answer you question.

I'm starting with the basics for other people that may read this post.

1. Clean the cutting head well.

2. Run the head calibration 8010, or on your machine the utility for "adjust sensor" (or what ever it says).

3. I would run a program that etches a part. Determine if the position is off consistently.

4. Go into the "Cond" cutting conditions and press "laser set" button at the bottom of the screen.

5. There should be a button that says "HS edge". Press that. then there should be a column of numbers X0 Y0 X1 Y1....

6. This is where you put the "offset" in for how much you want to move the program x an y. The "W" in the G121 is what calls out X0, X1, X2....

Note. If someone, not 3903KG, but someone else, has a 160i control. You can put in offsets in macro variables 890 891 892 893 for X0 Y0 X1 Y1 ect...

Tnx for the quick reply. But that`s ashame. We sometimes have the problem it cuts a whole sheet wrong because of wrong masuring. If we start the same program again without changing anything it does cut good. The only thing i can do is keep the cuttinghead realyrealy clean. About that. In the beginning we had the machine, the cuttinghead got dirty but not as bad as nowadays. every morning there`s a thick layer of black dust and oil on the cuttinghead. Anyone got an id to tackle that?
