Can somebody help me?
I need to buy a stainless steel bar X22CrMoV12 (W 1.2943)for a threaded bar but my supplier haven't this kind of steel.
He propose me the steel 56NiCrMoV7 but it isn't a stainless steel. What kind of stainless steel can I use in alternative?

Johnny from Italy.
Thank you

X22CrMoV12-1 (1.4923) is the latest designation according to EN 10269. It is a martensitic stainless steel. Other martensitic stainless steels that are included in EN 10269 for elevated and low temperature fasteners include X12CrNiMoV12-3 (1.4938) and X19CrMoNbVN11-1 (1.4913). All three are quenched and tempered to a similar tensile strength, but the last two have somewhat higher yield strength. Without any other information about your application, it is not possible to provide you with any real alternatives.

Thank you TVP, I need a stainless steel with the same or
higher yield strenght and same or higher corrosion
resistence. The working temperature is about 80°C (176°F).
I'm looking for bar diameter 40mm that I will threaded M39.
