does anyone have experience with Alonizing alloy 20 valves?
Operating conditions are 500-600 F. Valve is in front of a

Sulfur Recovery Unit main reaction burner

Some of my concerns:
Distortion of the valve
Effective corrosion resistance; even when used for coker furnaces, user is cautioned to have a corrosion resistant substrate.

I am wondering if it would be better to apply a layer of Stellite 21 and call it done.
