Can any one provide me a sample computation of designing an air separator?

Thanks.

There are many way's to separate air into it's components, can you explain your question more?

Sorry for the un-detailed question of mine, the question is, what are the factors to be considered in designing an air separator in a closed loop HVAC Piping System?

Is it necessary to consider the pressure difference being supplies in the system?

If I neglected the pressure difference, will this have an effect on the operation of the system?

Some basics are:

1. They're generally best installed at the lowest pressure, highest temperature point. Gas most readily comes out of solution at this point so it represents the best location for gas to be separated.

2. The generation rate of air should be considered. In a closed loop, sometimes a side stream separator will deaerate the water sufficiently. Having a side stream unit will not cause pressure loss but will evacuate air at a lower rate.
