I am designing an air piping system for glass manufacturer and aluminum. I don't have more idea about piping. All machine has operating pressure of 7 bars. I selected galvanized pipe schedule 40 for piping and a Two-Stage reciprocating pump for compressor. Can anyone give me some advice? In this 120 l is "l" stands for liter for cfm? Is per working cycle taken as per minutes? And how can I compute the thread per inch for the fittings. Thanks and more power!

Generally the compressor manufacturer was installation guides that would answer most of your initial questions and help refine your questions as you get into the detailis.

the threads per inch are defined in ANSI B1.20.1.

It sounds like you have a 120 cubic feet per minute. A 120 liter per minute compressor is a hand bicycle pump.
