One of our customers has quesioned the affect on the corrosion resistance and the ISO15156 compliance of Nitrocarburizing 625 weld overlay on F22. Anyone have any thoughts?
It's basicaly a cylindrical part, with a variety of IDs, inlayed over a section of the bore where seals are in contact. The whole thing is nitrocarburized. The bore is exposed to oil well production fluids.
