Is possible to design a rectangular flange using the AD2000 B 8?

But in the description of the B 8 is written: The design rules below apply to circular flanges of pressure vessels ...
I don't have to take care about it?

I wasn't able to locate paragraph 6.1.4. I'm looking at the Sep 2016 edt of B7. Am I missing something?

I have in English AD 2000 B7 edit. Feb 1977, Oct 2000 and Jul 2006 with the item 6.1.4
But in German Apr 2015 see 7.1.4
