ACI Code meaning ( Precast Concrete Structure)

According to the code mentioned above, Should I put Connector A, which has capacity 8.8 kn for nominal tensile, between a diaphram and a support per 2 linear meter, or should it be Connector B , which has capacity 4.4 kn for nominal tensile,per linear meter?

I would like to know if I can use Connector A instead of Connector B. The code does not mention if there should be a connector per every linear meter, or I can use another one that has more capacity but per 2 linear meter not just per meter.
