ACI 347 vs ACI SP-4

We have a digital copy of ACI's Manual of Concrete Practice. I am sitting for the PE in April and am compiling code. NCEES says both documents referenced in thread title are required (for Construction depth). For some reason our digital copy of SP-4 is just one sheet - it must be incomplete. ACI wants $200 for this document.

What is the difference between the two documents? I need to determine quickly if it's actually worth spending (company) money on SP4 when I already have 347.

In our copy of the Manual of Standard Practice, it says "Synopsis Only." Hence the one sheet. I strongly suspect that ACI 347 is enough if they even have any questions on formwork.
Don't you ever wonder if the NCEES gets a kickback from all the publication suppliers? :)

ACI SP-4 (Special Publication #4) is in its seventh edition and is 500 pages in length. For PE exam purposes, I would think that ACI 347-04 (Guide to Formwork for Concrete) would be sufficient. By the way, if you are an ACI member, SP-4 can be purchased from ACI for $117, substantially less than the non-member price of $200.

SP4 is essentially the "textbook" version of ACI 347. You should be fine with just ACI 347 for the exam but you might want to consider SP4 for your library at some point. It does go into more detail than 347.
