Hi guys, the 2014 ACI 318, presented an equation to calculate ldh for IMF (Chapter 18, 18.8.5.1), this equation was a take on the chapter 25 expression, using cover factor and confining factors equals to .70 and 0.8, respectively. The expression of chapter 18 remains without any change en 318-19, nevertheless the expression on chapter 25, that is where this equation comes from, was modified, the coefficients are different from the previous edition. I don't know if this is an error or the ACI expression from 2014 remains valid.
