ACI 318, Shear Caps

Chapter 13 allows for a shear cap to be used to increase the critical section for shear. What shear stress is allowed at the end of the shear cap? Does Section 11.11.2.1 apply even at the end of the shear cap (up to 4*sqrt F'c), or does the lower limit of 2*sqrt F'c apply at the end of the cap? I can't find clear direction one way or the other

The stress is the same as it would be without the cap. Check one way shear and two way shear. Use 11.11.2 for two way shear, per 11.11.1.2. For shear stress, divide 11.11.2.1 by b_od.
