My concern was about the heat treatment condition. As per 2.1.2(C) of NACE MR 01 03, carbon steels and low alloy steels are acceptable in any of the following conditions
i) hot rolled ii)annealed iii)normalized iv) normalized and tempered v)normalized, austenized,quenched and tempered
The SA 106 Gr B is available in Hot finished or cold finished condition. Coming to the question, whether Hot finished pipe is acceptable which is similar to hot rolling for plate?
