I just put together a switching PS designed with the help (actually it did almost all the design) of Power Integrations PI Expert. It's a 4 W, 24 VDC output, 115 VAC input supply. So far it is working well with our product. I'm running it at elevated temperature right now. I'm wondering what sort of tests I should consider in an effort to do some accelerated testing of the PS.

I'm guessing the following should be considered:

Full load to minimum load cycling
Hot and cold cycling of the ambient temperature
High and low incoming power cycling.
Transient spikes on the input 115 VAC
Short circuit cycling of the output

Am I on the right path? When do you guys (and/or gals) feel comfortable that you've tested enough?

Accelerated testing to what end? Without knowing that, how can anyone determine the validity of the tests?
