Happy New Years Everyone,
When I plot my 3d drawings, all circular objects(ie: cones, poles,etc) appear with lines running back and forth on the outer surface. Is there any way to just see the a line on the outer edge without all of the inside contour lines?

Regards

Try plotting the objects hidden.

I think what you are looking for is the following settings.
Use these when working with 3D curved surfaces or solids in ACAD, should work for any release.

Hideprecision = 1
Dispsilh = 1
isolines = 0
facetres = .5

Go to Tools/Options and on the display tab ensure "show silhoette" option is checked.
hope this helps

Hi
I could be wrong, but this is what I do. Just set the system variable DISPSILH to on (1) and perform hide. Just before you plot, that is.
