Hello!

First time posting after reading for years!!

We have the IED REF615 from ABB and it does not have the parameter TON(1) or TONGAPC1 that is used to make the device close the switch after a certain amount of time after a tripping incident occurs.
I mean that if the device orders the switch to open because of a tripping incident occurs (such as over/undervoltage, over/underfrequency etc..) then when the grid stabilises we need to have the switch to close again after a certain period of time (eg 3 minutes).

This parameter: TONGAPC1 or TON(1) (depending which IEC name you are using) is missing. It should be under /CONFIGURATION/Generic Timers.

Do you know how to add it with PCM600?

Thanx

Do you have the latest firmware?

I'd check that first.

I haven't worked with ABBs in a long time and never with that particular relay but the logic should be customizable, at least the 670 series was. Can't remember if it's done in PCM600 though or different software.

You may be using the wrong device for your application.
eg: A protection device versus a recloser device.

Not just a good idea;
It's the LAW!

Thank you very much for your answers. I was able to install a new configuration file that includes the TON(1) and everything worked as expected.
