Hi everybody. I'm using ABAQUS to simulate deep drawing process like Erichsen experiment. My model should be two step.
1. I want to pre-deform my sheet metal with abaqus.
2. Then ı want to use this pre-deformed sheet metal and its results with abaqus for another deep drawing process.
My question is: Are there any way to success these operations?

Why ı want to do this. Because I want to model work hardening sheet metal which is in first step and use these result second step.

Is there a reason not to just use 2 steps?
Else, you can check out restart and import analyses in the manual

In my project first mold is different from second tool. So ı need to change punch shape. First punch is gave a texture on sheet metal and second process is this textured sheet metal deep drawn.

just put both punches in the same model; then in step 2 disable contact between punch 1 and sheet, enable contact between punch 2 and sheet. If your punches are rigid computational cost will be negligible

Thank for your interest. I think i can apply your suggestion. But I should change punch with die. Is it important? For example in step 1 sheet is flat. But in step 2 sheet have little bubble on surface. Die and punch change and dimension of between die and holder also change.

this picture is my second model which ı want to shape with first punch.
