Hello,

I try to apply a loading on a reference point. But I hit the following error message -

' Node set assembly_left_rp has not been defined'

'A concentrated load has been specified on node set assembly_left_rp . This node set is not active in the model '.

But I have a RP and the a loading has been defined on the RP. How do I resolve this issue?

Many thanks.

Hello,

In your case, you are applying a loading on a reference point. A reference point is used to locate or mark the position. It is not attached to the model / geometry by default. This is why we see the error message – ‘ THIS NODE SET IS NOT ACTIVE IN THE MODEL ‘.

Try connecting the RP to the model using a K_Coup definition. Choose a bunch of nodes and couple them to the RP and then apply the loading on the RP.

Best regards,

Vishakh Rajendran.
