I am running a dynamic analysis in Abaqus (implicit) that solves over ~10,000 time increments. I would like to animate the results, but would like to only include every 10 results or so to speed up the animation and reduce the file size. How do I do this? Thank you.

You can use Result --> Active Steps/Frames to deactivate unnecessary frames. This will affect animations too. Another way is to use Animation Options --> Time History, switch to Time-based and specify Time increment. Finally you can go to Animate --> Save As and adjust Frame Rate option to speed up the animation.
