Hi all,
I'm using ACAD2000 on a WinXP machine, with Canon A4 bubblejet printer. When I create a new drawing, the page setup will only allow me to set the paper space to the size supported by my printer. If I use a dwg that has had the page size set to A3 to start with, eg a work PC connected to A3 printer, I have no problems in simply selecting 'scale to fit' to print it out.
How can I force the page setup to allow me to specify the page size?
cheers

All page sizes are controlled by the printer driver. You can reselect a different driver for AutoCAD to use with your particular printer. You may need to try a few until you get one with the settings that match your printer.

Thanks for the replies,
A friend pointed me to one of the default generic printer drivers loaded in Autocad called DWF ePlot.pc3, thru the 'Add Plotter' wizard. This allows you to set a variety of paperspace sizes right up to A0 when creating the initial paperspace from page setup. Actual printing is then simply a matter of selecting the appropriate printer or even pdf driver for output.
