Can someone please tell me the industrial and non industrial methods of dehydration, I mean, I want to know any new methods rather than the usual sun drying/oven heating or dehydrators, I mean, I need a different method, thank you.

And alot of the oil goes wasted in that method, so they ended up using the other method.

Please use proper nouns.

No one can read through this post and understand what "that method" and "the other method" are.

Oh sorry, the method which is usually used is called the dry method, in which they heat the coconut for a day, and then remove the copra from it, then heat it again then squeeze it in a expeller and then take the oil, in the other method, which is called the wet method, in which they use the protein in the coconut and and make a emultion of the water in the coconut and the oil, because of which you dont get a proper colour and is not very economical. :)

Does the solar method use a collector? That may speed things up.

Molecular sieve
Or just plain old evaporator. Circulate it, heat it let it flash.
