I am looking for the Charpy ductile to brittle transition temperature for 440C stainless steel in both the hardened and annealed conditions. Although I have performed a Google search, visited MatWeb, and visited websites of steel producers, I am unable to locate ANY data on this topic. Can someone direct me to a reliabble source for this information? Thank you.

It may be hard to find. The toughness will be a function of the C content and specific heat treatment. Changes in heat treatment can change the 50% ductility temp by 100F.
You may have trouble finding the data for 440C because the toughness is very low.

Latrobe's website was one of the steel producer's websites that I visited, and they do not have this information. The toughness for this grade is relatively low, and the only information that I was able to locate stated that 440C was not recommended for use at low temperatures due to toughness concerns.
