Enjoyed the discussion on previous thread. For my frame, I use Risa 2D - planning on adding .002 gravity load as notional load lateral at each node for gravity LC- Risa does not automatically do this. Also planning on property modifier= .8 for beam and col I and col A, which I believe Risa does not do. Plan on running with P delta (big delta)- Risa does not do little delta.
Any comments would be appreciated!

How are you handling lateral loads from wind/seismic?

Ron,

Using wind loads at windward nodes per ASCE-10 and going thru std load combinations with the notional loads along with gravity loads.
Question- just starting to understand the Direct Method Analysis- do you have to use 1.6 x all loads for stability?
