Hi There,

I am looking for a small DC (1.5-12v)powered 4-20ma wireless system. I need to transmit the current signal from about 30m away from my DC powered display. It only needs to be a one way transmit. There is no computer involved in any way. It is a simple loop circuit that I would like to have the cables removed.

Any ideas chaps? I noticed another topic that mention soemthing aout the Phoenix wireless stuff, but it looks quite big and the ability to supply that power / current is a worry.

Thanks in advance.

Ben

Do you have line-of-sight? An IR system might be easier and cheaper.

Benta.

Hi, LOS is possible but not always possible. What would you suggest in the infra red range? Would you also have some RF solutions?

Cheers, ben

Hi,

Thanks for that. I have seen the Phoenix before, but it is too large and the power demands are too high. I loke the look of the Banner stuff, but I fear it may be the same.

Do you think I could converter 4-20ma to 0-1v or 0-5v and use a simple AM/FM TX/RX?
