I am using Autocad 2002. Does anyone know where I am able to get 3D valve blocks from? I am looking for Top Entry and Side Entry ball valves. I have seen a site (I think it may have been a link from the Autodesk website) that you could drag and drop components into Autocad but I couldn't find what I needed.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Try the following :

cadopolis.com
cadmonkey.com
autocadblocks.com

Try with a valve vendor, ofthen they have 3d drawings.

Thomas Register has a free program that vendors supply drawings too, and sometimes 3D. Its called part spec, it works pretty good. You search by vendor or by file type, 2d or 3d. I think my latest revision had about 8 CDs to it. Hope this helps.

Alex, I have been to the Thomasregister web site and have seen the schematics/drawings for valves in Thomasspec. Unfortunately I can only view these drawings. Where could I find drawings that could be dragged into AutoCad? You also mention CD's, how do you get them?

Alex, I have now spent some time on Thomasregister site and found how to download the 3D drawings - great! I have found many small (up to 6") valves, now I need help in trying to locate 24" valves for the oil and gas industry. Thanks for all the help so far.

I will check my disc set for such vavles for you pch1.
