Hi,
I've been trying to import a DWG drawing and doing a simple BOSS Extrude (3 mil thickness). The problem is, once importing the drawing there are 27000 sketch entities and everything becomes very slow. When I try saving the drawing to STL it crashes as well.

Any ideas?

I successfully opened your fie. SolidWorks crashed because there are too many entities. When you open the file (selecting DWG format), in the pop up window, select import as new part and then as a sketch. If you need the sketch in another part, you can copy and paste the sketch into the correct part.

Enjoy.
