Hi all,

I'm just getting started in sw, and was wondering if there is a way to take a collection of points that were entered into a 3D sketch and turn them into a surface. I entered a bunch of X,Y,Z coordinates as points, then joined them with lines, now I'm trying to figure out how to create a surface to fill in the 3D contour(my terminology may be way off too, please correct me if it is wrong).

Is my approach totally flawed?

Thank you in advance for any assistance,

Jim

Hi, You may create surface by creating a curve passing through the points,

Go to curve creation tool, & use Curve through XYZ points & create curves. Now this curve/curves can be used for creating surface/surfaces.
