I have been using 3D objects in AutoCAD 2008 most recently, and after using AutoCAD as a 2D drawing program for several years, 3D is proving much more challenging. Any suggested references (books, tutorials) to bring me up to speed quickly using 3D objects? I've had relatively good luck with AutoCad University, but that's it.
Application is structural steel framing.

You can download or buy the official courseware from Autodesk for less than most books.
Of course there were substantial improvements to 3D modeling in the 2010 release (gizmos) so you'd be much better off with 2012 (current version, if you're going to upgrade) or Revit if you really want to embrace 3D modeling.
