3d dgn 7 to 3d dgn8

Hello,
Is there any way how i can convert my dgn8 file into dgn7 format so that my 3d object is still 3d?
When i convert my solid 3d objects into dgn7 format they are all 3d polylines and no surfaces. Doesnt happen in all the models.

I don't have V8 but I've seen demos.
And I believe I've seen an option where you can dictate to convert 3D objects to solids or surface ...
Not sure ... but you could double check the options.

I know V8 has more options than before so it is possible to miss a window or two.

Ok, now i have manage to get the 3d dwg correct into v8,
But now the MS doesnt want to convert them into version 7?
Any ideas how can i do it or did i made something wrong?
I cant find anything in the manuals to convert from v8 to 7.

Just a shot at the obvious ...
Did ya' try "File>saveas"?
or
"file>export"?
It should give you serval options under the filter pulldown for file type ...

When i do it in single objects the save as works fine but this is in batch convert. Then it doesnt work.

Unfortunately I don't have V8 so I'm not aware of a "batch" routine for converting. Is this a native command in V8 or is this something you bought in "addition" to V8?

Have you tried to log onto the Bentley Newsgroup?

I believe you need to do some configuring with your email options but I hear it's pretty good.
